Digiweb have signed a deal in excess of €125,000 over 5 years to provide CentralR with a tailored web hosting solution. Irish Company CentralR is one of Europe’s most popular online accommodation booking sites with over 4,000 hotels selling accommodation on their site.
CentralR has booked more ‘server hotel’ space from Digiweb, the web hosting and broadband services provider, in order to power the increased requirements of the CentralR.com website. Digiweb Hosting was chosen for the mix of reliability, security and 24 hour assistance necessary to support CentralR’s business.
CentralR provide a specialist hotel accommodation search and booking engine and allows guests to take advantage of special hotel rates from over 4,000 hotels across Europe and Australasia. CentralR has gone from strength to strength in recent years - bookings have increased by over 35% and the company now employs over 40 staff in a variety of highly skilled technical and internet specific roles.
The hosting migration project was managed by Shane O’Grady, IT Systems Manager with CentralR. As Shane explains, since the web is so critical to the business, the site’s reliability was paramount. “Guests who book online expect instant results for accommodation searching and booking.
